Tuesdays
Mussar | Facilitated by Dr. Yoram Kinberg
12:45 p.m. Mussar is a Jewish spiritual practice that involves self-examination through the exploration of various character traits (middot) such as humility, gratitude, kindness, anger, patience, and forgiveness. We each deal with these traits in different ways, and therefore we each have a unique spiritual curriculum. The goal of Mussar practice is to make us a better mensch, more attuned to ourselves, but just as importantly, to others. Our “textbook” for the class will be Everyday Holiness --The Jewish Path of Mussar by Alan Morinis. The practice is simple, yet challenging. This class meets regularly on Zoom.
